Divertimento to be premiered by Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen conducted by Pierre-André Valade on april 3rd at the Festival Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo. The piece is a co-commission between Athelas Sinfonietta and the Festival and will be performed three times during the afternoon.

Concerto for piano and orchestra, written 2009-10 to be premiered in Copenhagen in November by the orchestra of The Royal Danish Academy of Music, conducted by Marc Soustrot with Bendik Btstrand as soloist.

Curious Runway - Nordic Tour 2010. The swedish ensemble Curious Chamber Players, conducted by Rei Munakata, will perform dust encapsulated #2 when they go on tour in the nordic countries in October 2010. Recently the piece has been performed by Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen, conducted by Pierre-André Valade and the Uusinta Ensemble, conducted by Tapio von Boehm.

dust encapsulated #2 has been selected for the UNM Festival (Young Nordic Music Festival) to be held in Helsinki, Finland, in September 2010. The piece will be performed by the Uusinta Ensemble on the 21st of September, and on the same day Rune Glerup will give a lecture about the piece at the Sibelius Academy.

Performance at Nordic Music days 2010. 'objets/décalages' has been selected for Nordic Music Days to be held in Copenhagen from the 8th-11th of September 2010. The piece will be performed by Trio Gáman who commissioned it in 2008 and since then has played it at several occasions.

{PLIIINGGG..} Debut concert from the soloistclass of the Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen with London Sinfonietta and danish soloists. The debut will be held as a small festival with the composers Nicolai Worsaae and Christian Winther Christensen over two days on the 20th and 21st of May 2010. The concerts will include recent works as well as the premiere of a new work 'dust encapsulated #3' written for the London Sinfonietta. The danish musicians will include Jakob Kullberg, Trio Gáman and David Hildebrandt.

Three pieces at the PULSAR-festival 2010. 'dust encapsulated #2' to be performed at the PULSAR-festival in Copenhagen by Ensemble Tm+ who gave the premiere in Paris in the summer 2009. The piece 'Destruct[urat]ion #4 (Stilleben)' for cello solo and live electronics will also be performed at the festival by Jakob Kullberg who gave the premiere in 2009, and finally Aleksander Wnuk will perform 'dust encapsulated #1 (counting is OK)'.

Rune Glerup at the Brücken-festival. 'dust encapsulated #2' for five musicians has been selected for the Brücken-festival to be held in Rostock 15.-22. of november 2009. The piece was written for Ensemble Tm+ who gave the premiere in Paris earlier this year.

Premiere in Literaturhas, Copenhagen. On monday the 28th of September, Jakob Kullberg will give the premiere of 'Destruct[urat]ion #4 (Stilleben)' for cello solo and live electronics in a concert organized by Contemporánea. The piece is a completely rewritten version of the piece 'Stilleben' from 2007.

Rune Glerup appointed conductor of Contemporánea. Following two succesful concerts in Copenhagen and Århus in February and March 2009, Rune Glerup has been appointed conductor of Contemporánea, an ensemble specialized in performing with electronics. In addition to becoming conductor of the ensemble, he will also be a part of the artistic direction, and the ambition is, in the course of some years, to increase the number of annual concerts, and to strengthen and stimulate the danish scene for electroacoustic music. Rune Glerup at the UNM-festival (Young Nordic Music-Festival) next week. On monday the 10th of august it will be possible to hear the work 'objets/décalages' performed by Bolette Roed, Jakob Lund Nielsen and Bjarke Mogensen, and on thursday the 6th, Rune Glerup will be conducting the piece 'Kasvojesi valossa' for small ensemble by the finnish composer, Jouni Hirvelä.

On invitation from the danish think tank, Center for Vild Analyse (Center for Wild Analysis), a group of danish philosophers, Rune Glerup created a soundframe for their lecture at klimacamp09. The soundframe was created by computer realtime processing of real sounds, such as birdsong, cars passing by, a band in the distance and a bit of wind.
